She enjoys using play therapy and expressive arts to provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Her treatment approach incorporates evidence-based practices including EMDR, CBT, solution focused therapy, Adlerian, and Internal Family Systems/parts work.
Kathleen has been promoting emotional wellness across settings for the last decade. She likes Rumi’s poem comparing being human to a guest house, “every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.” She is excited about helping people learn more about their visitors and what they need so the person can make room for better stories at home, school, work, and in their social life.
Online or in person, Kathleen offers a safe space to process past events, face current stressors, and take action to live the good life you deserve. She is also able to provide a faith-based approach if you’d like to integrate that into sessions. Kathleen looks forward to assisting you in meeting your goals and living out your values and interests in a courageous way.
