“Nothing is impossible; the word itself says “I’m possible.” - Audrey Hepburn.
Danielle's mission in therapy is to help others learn and apply tools to navigate the path to empowerment. These tools can help to release emotions and thought patterns that are contributing to doubt and uncertainty.Danielle believes that one’s potential is based on the foundation of trust, support, creativity, and awareness of what brings out their best. She believes that core beliefs can sometimes triggers, values that are not aligned, and trauma responses can put us in a place that feels stuck.
Danielle integrates modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and reality therapy to work through those day-to-day stressors and outlook of the present and future. She also uses a trauma focused lens through EMDR and parts work which explores how past experiences created patterns that may show up in the present. Interactive exercises, social stories, art, and therapeutic games are utilized in sessions as these include an element of expression, rapport building, relatability, creativity, and reflecting on values.
