MASSAGE & REIKI

Swedish Massage
A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But the benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

Pregnancy
Massage
Prenatal massages are performed with specialized techniques that are tailored to benefit you and your growing baby. These techniques include a slow pace, specific positioning, and gentle pressure that can help relieve muscle tension and pain during pregnancy.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. Deep tissue massage will work out the knots from stressed, overworked muscles and connective tissue (fascia) to alleviate immediate pain, as well as chronic joint and muscle pain.
Fertility Massage
Fertility massage is a non-surgical and non-invasive alternative therapy that helps enhance your well-being and create optimal conditions for conception. This technique focuses on promoting relaxation and decreasing abdominal scarring, pelvic adhesions, or tubal obstruction and increasing the function of the reproductive organs.

Reiki
This ancient practice includes hands-off and gentle hands-on healing. It is based on the principle that the energy surrounding us and within us (chakras) can be used for healing. Reiki connects our energy fields to the universal life force.

Partially Trained EMDR Therapist
Trauma-focused Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
As not only a Registered Yoga Teacher but also a Professional Counselor, Nicole has a unique skillset as a dedicated, trauma-focused Holistic Healer. Having completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and the foundational 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, she has also completed additional training in trauma-informed yoga practices. These trainings allow her to offer asana practices, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, and meditation, which also are threaded into all of her therapeutic work at Favored Wellness.
With close to a decade of experience teaching veterans, Nicole emphasizes the mind-body connection and somatic experiences in striving to create a space where clients to feel safe enough to do deep, meaningful work. As a lifelong student, she continually deepens her knowledge to provide quality holistic practices that foster relaxation, resilience, and inner peace. She offers both individual sessions and group workshops, which can be stand-alone or integrated as adjunctive modalities to support one's psychotherapy goals.
