Ursula is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern at La Roche University, bringing a rich background in trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based practices, and therapeutic coaching. With over 20 years of experience in leadership development and emotional wellness, she is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and purpose.
Her approach is grounded in Gestalt theory, mindfulness, and narrative therapy, and she integrates evidence-based techniques to support clients in building resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connection. Ursula has worked extensively with families navigating complex educational and mental health systems, and she brings a deep understanding of neurodiversity, trauma recovery, and relational healing to her clinical work.
As a Family Discipline Fellow with the University of Pittsburgh’s LEND program, Ursula is committed to disability advocacy, systems-level collaboration, and inclusive care. She is currently completing advanced training in trauma-sensitive yoga, mindfulness meditation, and coaching supervision, and holds certifications in MBSR, trauma competency, and integrative health coaching.
Ursula strives to foster therapeutic relationships where clients feel respected, understood, and supported in their growth. She believes in the healing power of presence, curiosity, and co-creating change through authentic connection.

Madison Vogel, BS
Robert Morris University

Madison is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) program at Robert Morris University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She brings diverse experience in therapeutic and supportive roles, including involvement in equine-assisted mental health settings, which has informed her appreciation for experiential, relational, and holistic approaches to care.
Madison is a passionate, genuine, and empathetic individual who values creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. She takes a person-centered approach to counseling, viewing each individual as a whole while honoring the complexity of their unique identities, strengths, and lived experiences. Her clinical work is informed by holistic perspectives and evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.
With a strong interest in mindfulness practices, emotional regulation, and self-awareness, Madison enjoys helping clients build practical skills to navigate stress, improve coping, and foster greater balance in their daily lives. She is especially committed to supporting clients in developing meaningful connections with themselves while exploring values, strengths, and goals that align with personal growth and healing. She approaches the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey and is eager to learn from clients as they work together toward resilience, insight, and lasting change.

Danielle Bain is a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern in the final year of her Master’s program at Pennsylvania Western University. Committed to creating a warm, collaborative, and empowering environment, Danielle is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth. At the core of her practice is a deep commitment to meeting clients exactly where they are at on their unique healing journeys—honoring their individual pace, history, and goals. To ensure support is accessible, she offers flexible scheduling with options for both in-person sessions and virtual telehealth.
Danielle believes that true healing begins with radical acceptance and authenticity. With an interest in trauma, she approaches therapy through a deeply inclusive lens, providing a gender-affirming, LGBTQ+ safe, and sex-positive space where individuals of all backgrounds feel entirely seen, heard, and valued. By cultivating an environment rooted in safety and nonjudgment, Danielle invites clients to bring their whole, authentic selves to session as they unpack complex experiences, process difficult emotions, and discover their own inner resilience.
To support clients on their path to lasting wellness, Danielle integrates evidence-based modalities, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Maddie Sherer, BA

Maddie is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Pittsburgh. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Science from the University of Vermont. Maddie has experience in research and therapeutic roles that foster her interests in trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and relationships.
Maddie believes in offering a nonjudgmental, inclusive, and safe environment for her clients. Maddie takes a holistic approach to client wellness that aims to honor each individual's autonomy. She believes that healing beings with feeling heard, understood, and empowered. Maddie also has a passion for advocacy surrounding disability, chronic pain, and autoimmune disorders. Her clinical work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.
Maddie offers a collaborative and personalized environment in which she hopes to help clients navigate life stress, build healthy coping strategies, and foster resilience.
