Danielle Vogan is the owner and founder of Favored Wellness Counseling and Consulting, LLC.  She carries a Master of Arts in Community Counseling, specializing in Addictions. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, a Certified EMDR Therapist, and an EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training. Danielle has a passion for bringing trauma-informed, trauma-focused care to the Moon Township community, and for extending the fight against stigma around trauma and mental health.

Along with experience in treating more generalized mental health issues, she specializes in working with those navigating the impacts of trauma and all angles of addiction.  Working with individuals in recovery, along with their families and loved ones, is at the heart of her work.  In Latin, trauma means “wound,” and because of this, the human condition includes various levels of “wounding.”

Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.

~John Paul Satre

Therapeutic change starts with building a relationship.  Danielle works to provide an inviting, relaxed environment where privacy and security are built upon to develop a foundation of trust and safety, paced to fit your needs.  She encourages and challenges her clients to discover their inner strengths, resources, and resilience. She works with clients to apply their strengths to create unique processes and develop steps toward achieving long-term change and increased adaptability.

Danielle employs a trauma-informed, integrative approach including: CBT, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt Theory, and motivational interviewing.  Based on your individual set of strengths and circumstances, Danielle will work with you to move toward the changes you seek to apply to your life.
