Frank is a licensed professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor who
earned a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the
University of Pittsburgh. Through trauma-informed care, Frank has a history of supporting
adults and couples with mood disorders, addiction concerns such as alcohol use, substance use,
and gambling, life transitions, grief, traumatic experiences, and physical and cognitive
disabilities.
Frank takes an individualized and person-centered approach to each client he supports. He
utilizes a variety of clinical interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness,
motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused, to promote client well-being. Frank believes
therapy relies on the comfort and self-efficacy of each individual and couple he meets, resulting
in a collaborative approach that prioritizes clients’ strengths and goals, safety, and willingness
to be heard and seen.
Outside of therapy sessions, Frank is a Question Persuade Refer (QPR) trainer who provides the
suicide prevention training certification course to community members.
